New RFQ Workflow

We've redesigned the RFQ experience to bring every stage of a sourcing event into one place. Buyers can create RFQs faster, customize requirements, invite suppliers, track responses, and compare quotations without switching between different screens.

What's New

  • Simplified RFQ Creation: Create RFQs in two steps by selecting the event type and visibility, then naming your project. Start with predefined or custom templates.

  • Five Dedicated RFQ Tabs: Manage the complete workflow through five tabs: RFQ Details, Emails, Responses, Compare, and Change Log.

  • Flexible RFQ Configuration: Customize project information with additional fields and optional sections, including Assumptions & Standards, Stakeholders, Terms & Conditions, and Internal Comments.

  • Flexible Parts Management: Upload parts, enter or paste multiple part numbers, or select existing parts from your Part Library. Add fields such as EAU, Baseline Price, and Scale Quantity.

  • Centralized Document Management: Upload documents together, automatically organize them into RFQ Documents and Part Documents, and share them through a single download link.

  • Supplier Invitations via Email: Send personalized supplier invitations, preview emails, manage recipients, and include document and quote submission links. Connect your email account to send from your own address and track replies.

  • Real-Time Supplier Response Tracking: Track whether suppliers have opened invitations, started drafting quotes, submitted quotations, or declined participation. Record email-received quotes on suppliers' behalf.

  • AI-Powered Response Summaries: Generate AI summaries of supplier responses and download supplier documents for review.

  • Integrated Quote Comparison: Compare supplier quotations using the MESH Standard Analysis Template or your own Excel comparison sheet. Comparisons update as quotes arrive.

  • RFQ Change Log & Notifications: Track changes with previous and updated values, dates, and user details. Receive notifications when suppliers open invitations or start drafting quotes.

  • Reusable RFQ Templates: Save RFQ configurations as templates and reuse them for future sourcing events.
