Constellium and Can Art created a joint venture, Astrex, to meet the growing demand for stronger, lighter weight, cost-effective aluminum extrusions used in automotive Crash Management Systems and body structure components. The 50/50 venture, located in Ontario, Canada with more than 100 employees, is dedicated to extruding Constellium’s specialty alloys.
