Reverse Auction- Allow suppliers to add pricing before auction starts

We’ve introduced a new enhancement in Reverse Auctions. Now, suppliers can enter their pricing before the auction begins. This ensures that:

  • Initial bids are already in place when the auction starts.
  • Suppliers save time during the live auction.
  • Buyers get better visibility into baseline pricing upfront
  • We’re excited to introduce the Reverse Auction feature for Buyers, designed to enhance strategic sourcing by enabling real-time competitive bidding among suppliers.

Key Benefits for Suppliers:

  • Saves time during the live auction by reducing pressure to enter all bids within a short window.
  • Allows suppliers to prepare and upload well-thought-out prices in advance.
  • Reduces the chance of errors or missed bids due to network or time constraints.

Key Benefits for Buyers:

  • Auctions begin with initial bids already visible, helping buyers understand the starting price points.
  • Encourages more competitive bidding as suppliers have already committed their base prices.
  • Makes the process more transparent and efficient, ensuring fair competition.

How It Works:

  • When the Reverse Auction is created, suppliers will see an option to submit pricing before the scheduled auction start time.
  • These pre-bids will automatically appear as the supplier’s starting bid once the auction begins.
  • Suppliers can then continue to lower/update their prices in real-time during the auction.
MESH Marketplace- Feature to Add/Upload Parts (Part wise details) in Bids

We have introduced a new enhancement in the Marketplace module that allows Buyers to easily add or upload part details directly while creating bids. Similar to the RFQ process, this functionality enables Buyers to share part-level details, giving Suppliers greater clarity and helping them provide more accurate, process-based pricing.

Feature Details

  • Add Parts Manually: Bid creator (Buyers) can search and add parts one by one.
  • Bulk Upload Option: Suppliers can upload multiple parts at once using an Excel template with the valid part details (e.g., Part No., Description, Quantity, UOM).
  • Any errors or missing data will be highlighted for quick correction.

Key Benefits

  • Saves time by reducing manual entry.
  • Simplifies bidding for large RFQs with multiple parts.
  • Ensures data accuracy and consistency in submitted bids.
  • Makes the bidding process faster and more convenient for buyers as well as suppliers.
My Suppliers- Average RFQ Response Days in My Supplier Report

We have enhanced the My Supplier Report → Quote Response Times under Partners >> My Suppliers >> Quotes Report with an additional performance metric.

  • A new column “Days to Response” has been added to the Quote Response Times report.
  • Excel Export: The same column is now included in the Excel download for offline analysis.

This enhancement gives buyers better visibility into supplier responsiveness and helps in evaluating supplier performance more effectively.

Preserve Search Across Screens

Your search filters and keywords will now be preserved when navigating between screens.

Why This Matters:

  • Previously, when moving between screens or coming back to a page, users had to reapply their search filters.
  • With this enhancement, the system will retain your last applied search criteria, making it easier to continue your work without repeating steps.

Key Benefits:

  • Saves time by avoiding repeated searches.
  • Provides a smoother, more consistent user experience.
  • Helps maintain context while switching between modules or records.

This improvement ensures you can pick up right where you left off, without losing your search results.

Engineering (QMS & Project Management)

ECN/PCN – Associate ECNs with Specific APQP Projects.

Users can now associate Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) directly with specific APQP projects.

Why This Matters:

  • In many cases, the same part may exist across multiple APQP projects with different suppliers, buyers, or pricing structures.
  • With this enhancement, users can link an ECN to the correct project, ensuring that changes are applied only where they are relevant.
  • This allows for project-specific updates to documents, processes, and/or pricing without impacting unrelated projects.

Key Benefits:

  • Greater flexibility in managing ECNs across projects.
  • Improved traceability of engineering changes at the project level.
  • Avoids unintended updates across all instances of a part.

This enhancement ensures that ECN-driven changes are controlled, accurate, and aligned with the correct APQP project context.

Mobile Applications

Reverse Auction Now on Mobile App (View-Only Mode)

We’ve extended the Reverse Auction capability to the MESH Mobile App. Until now, Reverse Auction was only accessible via the web. With this enhancement, users can now view live auction details directly from their mobile devices.

  • Price Movement Insights: See suppliers’ price submissions and rank changes as they happen.
  • Real-Time Updates: Get notified when new bids are placed, keeping you in sync with the competition.
  • Convenience: No need to log into the web portal just to check auction status—stay connected anywhere.

Key Benefits For Suppliers:

  • Auction Visibility: View all active reverse auctions you are invited to participate in.
  • Ranking & Pricing View: Track your current rank and how your submitted bid compares in the auction.
  • Competitor Activity Awareness: Get a clear picture of bid changes and auction progress in real-time.
  • On-the-Go Monitoring: Keep track of auctions while traveling, at the shop floor, or outside office hours.
